If you love soft, romantic home décor that feels straight out of a boutique, this DIY floral wall art is for you. It’s elegant, timeless, and surprisingly easy to make. Perfect for bedrooms, entryways, or even your office backdrop.

In "Flower art," discover how to craft DIY wall décor with a wooden frame, faux flowers, leaves, and blossoms for bright spaces.

What You’ll Need

Shopping List (Amazon Affiliate Links):

  • Wood Panel Base – smooth surface, 12×16 or larger
  • Artificial Peony Flowers – blush and cream tones
  • Artificial Eucalyptus Stems – adds greenery and texture
  • Baby’s Breath Filler Stems – for softness
  • Hot Glue Gun + Glue Sticks
  • Wire Cutters
  • Hanging Rope or Twine
  • Staple Gun (optional)

Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: Prep Your Base
Lay your wood panel flat. If you want a rustic look, lightly sand and stain it before starting. Let it dry completely.

Step 2: Trim Your Stems
Use wire cutters to shorten each flower and greenery stem to about 2–3 inches long. This makes them easier to glue securely.

Step 3: Create Your Layout
Before gluing, arrange your flowers directly on the panel. Start with larger peonies, then fill gaps with smaller blooms, eucalyptus, and baby’s breath.

Step 4: Glue Everything in Place
Once you love the arrangement, glue each flower and stem individually. Press and hold each for 10–15 seconds while it sets.

Step 5: Add Hanging Support
Flip your panel over and staple or glue your rope/twine to the back for hanging. Make sure it’s even and sturdy.

Step 6: Hang and Enjoy
Display your floral art in a bright spot where it catches natural light. It instantly brings warmth and charm to any room.

Pro Tip:
If you prefer a more neutral look, try ivory and sage tones. For spring or summer, blush and cream peonies look stunning against light wood.
