If you’re looking for a decadent treat that satisfies your sweet tooth without any added sugar, you’ve got to try these no-sugar-added dark chocolate almond clusters. They’re super easy to make, and you can even batch and freeze them for a quick, guilt-free snack anytime!

dark chocolate almond clusters broken up in a dish with one in hand

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Laura Scudder’s No-Sugar-Added Peanut Butter
  • 9 ounces Lily’s No-Sugar-Added Dark Chocolate Chips
  • Almonds (or peanuts, or any nuts you prefer)

Instructions

  1. Melt the Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chips:
In a non-stick pot (I love using my HexClad for this!), melt together 1 cup of Laura Scudder’s no-sugar-added peanut butter and 9 ounces of Lily’s no-sugar-added dark chocolate chips. Stir the mixture over low heat until smooth and fully combined.
  2. Prepare the Nuts:
Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper to save on cleanup. Spread out a layer of almonds (or your nut of choice) evenly across the sheet.
  3. Coat the Nuts:
Pour the melted peanut butter and chocolate mixture over the nuts. Then, using the edges of the parchment paper, fold and move the nuts around, ensuring they’re well-coated in the chocolate mixture. If you prefer clusters, you can use a spoon to drop the mixture into clusters instead of spreading it out on the sheet.
  4. Freeze Overnight:
Place the entire sheet in the freezer overnight. The next day, take the sheet out and let it sit on the counter for about 10-15 minutes. This will allow the chocolate to soften just enough to break it up by hand.
  5. Store and Enjoy!
Once broken into bite-sized pieces, store your clusters in the fridge or freezer container. They freeze beautifully, so you can always have a batch ready to go! Just take out a container when you finish the one in the fridge—perfect for keeping your snack stash full. I use the small Zwilling glass containers, vacuum sealed, for saving mine. They stay fresh longer!

Pro Tip:

The beauty of this recipe is that it’s totally customizable. You can double or shrink the recipe as needed. Personally, I love making big batches and freezing them so I can always have these tasty clusters on hand.

A cheerful woman enjoys a sunny day outdoors in her suburban neighborhood, radiating warmth and relaxation.

Hi! I’m Lori Ballen. I’m a midlife creator who finds joy in home projects, cozy spaces, effortless style, and simple-but-delicious recipes. I started this lifestyle blog as my personal outlet—a place to create, explore, and share what I’m loving right now.

I live in Las Vegas and travel often, especially on solo adventures and cruises that feed my love for freedom and discovery. When I’m not writing or filming, I’m probably hanging out at home with my two adopted cats—one spunky and playful, the other a total lap lover. They’re constant companions in my quiet, creative life.

This blog is a reflection of that life—equal parts fun, functional, and full of soul. Whether you’re looking for a new DIY idea, a comfy outfit, or a quick dinner recipe, I hope you find inspiration here to create a home and lifestyle you love.
