In this guide, I’ll show you how to turn off your off-facebook activity to remove personalized history from websites you visit. This will also remove personalized ads, although not all ads. Keep in mind, this will mean that you can’t log into other websites with Facebook if you don’t want your personal history used in ads.
Step by Step Instructions
1. Go to Settings
2. Click Settings & Privacy
3. Click the SETTINGS option.
4. Find the Off-Facebook Activity Tool
5. Click on More
6. Choose Manage Future Activity
7. Toggle the button off.
Note: It can take up to 48 hours to have the future history removed.
