Do you have a Facebook business page? Excellent! Have you been using Facebook Leads Ads? Yes? Great! Then it's time for you to download your leads so you can use them to their full potential. However, before we start, let's just take a look at what they are to ensure we're all on the same page. What Are Facebook Lead Form Ads? Facebook Lead Form Ads help generate a staggering number of leads thanks to the 2 billion (and counting) users. Generally speaking, people use Facebook on their cellphones. So, they'll click on adverts right there and then. Some of these people will sign up using the relevant forms once they've clicked an advert. This is when they become leads, and you need to download their data to follow up. In simple terms, Facebook Leads Ads have promoted forms that will give you unique access to user's information if they choose to use them. How to Download Leads From Facebook Regardless of the information you request on your leads form; you'll still need to download it before you can access it. There are two ways to do this. We'll start with the most common one. Method One: The Manual CSV Download A Manual download is a rather time-consuming method since you have to do it manually. However, it does work and can be useful for smaller businesses. It's quite convoluted if you go at it alone, but following our step-by-step guide makes it easy. Step 1. Go to Facebook The first thing you need to do is head to your business's Facebook page. Step 2. Head to The Publishing Tools Feature From there, locate the More drop-down menu and click it. After that, select the "Publishing Tools" heading. Step 3. Lead Ads Form On the left-hand side, you'll see a heading called "Lead Ads Form." Click on this text. Step 4. Look At The Form Library When you click on Lead Ads Form, it should bring up another heading called "Form Library." Click on this. In the library, you will see a "Leads" column. There will also be a download button under the "Form Export URL" column heading. There are two choices here: Download new leads — If you only want to download the leads that have been gained since you last downloaded them, this is the option for you. Download by date range — With this option, you can download leads from your preferred date range. Step 5. Click Download Once you have made your decision, click the download button. Your leads will be given to you in a CSV file. You can then open the file in Excel or a similar program to import it into your CRM. Method Two: Use a Facebook Partner For those of you who want to streamline the process, you can use a Facebook partner app. Facebook partner app allows you to auto-sync your leads with your CRM through a third-party tool. There are plenty of options out there (Leadsbridge being the most popular), and is perfect if you have a larger business. Now, what are you waiting for? Go follow up those leads!
